The key to a green smoothie is to use a powerful blender that can liquefy the ingredients and therefore make them more available to digest and absorb into your body. A good blender like the Vita-Mix can be used for this purpose. To make your smoothie like liquid, I recommend starting slow with the blender to ensure that all ingredients have been adequately mixed together. Once you've established a good consistency for your smoothie, turn your blender onto the highest/top speed and allow it to do its magic and blend for at least 30-60 seconds, and even longer.
